How It Works

The Impact AI System is an innovative Artificial Intelligence tool designed to help you craft effective, professional emails that advocate for more humane conditions in Georgia’s prison system. Here’s how it works:

1. Create Your Email: Start by filling out a simple form with your details. Choose the topics you care about, add optional specific details if needed, and select the type of email to generate.
2. Review the Generated Email: Preview the AI-created email tailored to your input. Make edits if needed, or go back and generate a new version. Once you’re happy, move on to recipient selection.
3. Choose Recipients: Select the decision-makers, officials, or media outlets you want to send your email to.
4. Send Your Email: With everything ready, press the SEND EMAIL button to deliver your message to all selected recipients. You’ll also receive a confirmation email for your records.

What About Possible Retaliation?

• We understand the risks that advocacy can pose to you or your loved ones in prison. Prisoners may face retaliation if information you provide reaches the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC).
• If you are concerned about being identified, feel free to create a new email address and use a pseudonym instead of your real name.
• We are committed to your safety and will never store or share information that could put anyone at risk for exercising their rights.

Your Privacy & Control

Information We Store:

• The name you provide when creating your email
• Your email address, used for sending the email and confirmation
• The AI-generated letter tailored to your input
• The recipients you selected
• The date and time your email was sent

What We DO NOT Store:

• Any personal information beyond the name and email address you provide
• Passwords or sensitive data
• IP addresses
• Cookies or identifying data about your device

The system makes it easy to send your advocacy emails to the right people. We’ve grouped related contacts to help you identify decision-makers quickly:

Government Officials:

• Federal Officials (U.S. Senators, Department of Justice)
• State Officials (Georgia Governor, GDC Commissioner)
• Parole Board Members
• State Representatives and Senators (by county)

Media Outlets:

• Major state-wide media organizations
• Local news outlets
• Independent news organizations

Email Delivery & Confirmation

• Once your email is sent, you will receive a confirmation email for your records. This includes the content of your email and a list of all recipients.
• To ensure successful delivery, emails are limited to a maximum of 99 recipients per message.
